USAID seeks for interested organizations for implementing its new activity in support of innovative development in Belarus
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) announced its intention to finance a new activity in Belarus called “INNOVATE” with the aim to promote the innovative development of the economy and private business. The appropriate call was launched on 27 April 2020 with the deadline for applications on 8 June 2020. Applications are expected from qualified U.S. or Non-U.S. non-profit or for-profit Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), and other qualified non-USG organizations.
The activity is focused on developing the innovation entrepreneurship ecosystem via improving its framework, strengthening innovative business support institutions and enhancing the financing for innovative businesses.
The INNOVATE budget is up to $10 million for 5 years.
