Technology transfer represents a central area where distinct sections of society including academia, private research, government and public and private enterprises interface with one another to improve the overall economic and social conditions for those involved and the communities around them. By investing in the facilitation of technology transfer, governments can direct policy and funds to ensure the greatest outcome for society.
This report results from the JRC study undertaken in 2019-2020 with the aim to analyze the technology transfer in the EU neighbors in the Southern and Eastern Europe. It provides an overview of the technology transfer landscape in Belarus, including relevant stakeholders, strengths and weaknesses of the ecosystem, and recommendations for the country, with the aim of informing policymaking in technology transfer.
